Environmental care shall prevail, but quality is a must in a good product. As simple as that. But it's easier said than done. Once the business strategy was set, was this mantra but, how to attain it? When you find the right colleagues, things come easy.
When things come alone
In mid 2017, I got an email from Daniel Belchí. He was an ecodesign enthusiast, and so he wanted to know more about EeD's approaches. We Skyped for long, and at the end we came up with more than 10 different ideas we could develop together. Our first contact was a brainstorming session: that was promising!
In 2018 we started our most ambitious project so far, FitWatt, we presented the idea at the Climate Show in Geneva, and the first machine was ready for prototyping that summer. He's been EeD's core collaborator since then.
Art and engineering
Daniel's contribution to EeD goes beyond engineering. He is gifted for making something functional become also beautiful. Apart from participating in the devising processes, he is in charge of giving the ultimate shape to the designs. He is so meticulous that great quality is inherent and guaranteed. By the way, sketching with an illustrator takes the sharing of ideas to a different level!
Thanks Daniel for your commitment, support, and friendship.
EeD is what it is thanks to your talent.
