EGG2016+ & new EeD strategic projects coming

​A conference is like a buffet where you can fill up your dish once. At Electronics Goes Green 2016+ there were some many speeches and topics at the same time that it was hard to choose. What a nice difficulty! These are great news: sustainability and environmentally conscious design are increasingly gaining interest, not only in the R&D arena, but also in the markets. 

During these three intense days of fruitful knowledge exchange and networking, EeD has focused into sustainable strategic development issues, in line with our poster ‘Ecodriving: a driving style to optimise the use phase of our vehicles’. There, we developed this topic, shared ideas with colleagues, and received feedback to integrate electronics for a safe and healthy transport both at use and strategic levels.

​Aside from technical research - which is a must to put ideas into practise – research of new strategies to come up with fresh business ideas based on sustainability is also growing. A good plan is the core of a good product, service, or project. 

​​In a near future we will introduce a plan to provide to local authorities in Morges with tools to fight against traffic jams, pollution and discomfort. Also, in the following months we will start a research in cooperation with prestigious institutes to find new ways to conceive sustainable plans, linking them with markets demands.
